Purposeful learning.
Personalised support.

Individual support and small-group alternative provision for children and young people with SEMH and SEND, in Kingston Deverill, near Warminster, Wiltshire.

We work with families and referring professionals to build a placement around the learner's strengths, needs and agreed goals.

A small setting, with clear purpose

Trusted relationships, practical activities and time outdoors give learners opportunities to participate, develop everyday skills and reconnect with learning. Activities may include animal care, cooking, gardening and creative projects.

Our approach is trauma-informed, with clear communication, predictable routines and access to a trusted adult when a learner needs space.

The right level of support

Our provision is therapeutically informed. Formal therapy is not provided as part of a commissioned alternative provision placement.

Individual provision

One-to-one or two-to-one support, agreed around the learner's needs, interests and placement goals.

Small-group provision

Supported opportunities to learn alongside others, with no more than six learners on site each day. Suitability and staffing are discussed before a placement is agreed.

Referrals

Start with a conversation

1. Contact Martha

Enquire about suitability and current availability by email or telephone. A brief outline is enough at this stage; please do not send confidential learner records with an initial enquiry.

2. Share information securely

We agree an appropriate route for the referral information needed to consider the learner's needs, existing support and any relevant risks.

3. Explore the setting

Where appropriate, we discuss an introductory visit and how to help the learner feel comfortable. Visits are by appointment only.

4. Agree the placement

Before a placement starts, we agree goals, staffing, timetable, funding, communication and review arrangements. A gradual introduction can be considered where appropriate.

Goals that matter to the learner

Agreed goals may focus on confidence, communication, emotional regulation, relationships, independence and engagement with education. Practical activities provide meaningful opportunities to practise skills and recognise progress.

We discuss how observations, progress and any concerns will be shared with the family and referring professionals. Reporting and review arrangements are agreed for the individual placement.

Timetable and funding

Morning, afternoon and full-day sessions may be available, subject to suitability, staffing and capacity. Please enquire for current availability. Fees and funding arrangements are confirmed individually before a placement begins.

Safeguarding and partnership working

Safeguarding, attendance, information sharing and relevant support arrangements form part of placement planning.

Meet our safeguarding leads and read our policies.
